To Andrew and the family. Please accept our condolences Marian and myself were saddened to hear of her passing on. I worked with Ailsa for some years and thoroughly enjoyed the time with her. Ailsa managed some very difficult and challenging projects, those type of cross discipline, university wide projects where everyone had a view but did little to help. She was focused, tough, kept on track and delivered. Thankyou Ailsa for all you did. She was caring and looked after her staff and generally understood them and always wanted them to develop further. I discussed much with her and she always gave good advice. She also had a sense of humour and would often chuckle about things.Since we both retired I wish we kept more in contact. Unfortunately we are in New Zealand and will not be back in time for the cremation and a celebration of her life
